FAQ
We use meteorological seasons (fixed months): Spring Mar–May, Summer Jun–Aug, Autumn Sep–Nov, Winter Dec–Feb in the Northern hemisphere.
If IP geolocation provides latitude, south of the equator uses Southern seasons. Otherwise we assume Northern.
Local climate, altitude, and astronomical equinoxes differ from month-based meteorological labels.
A VPN can change IP latitude and flip the hemisphere used for the season label.
We label the season Autumn for consistency; it means the same as fall.
